Ushers, Ushers.

Hello! (:
Here's a rough guide of what the program on 3nov will be like.
Ushers, please try to memorise the timeslots and the venues.
There should be a program sheet for us too, but Ms Chan hasn't sent us yet, so try to familiarise yourselves with the routes, venues and the timings with this first. (:

These schools will be conducting their sharing/workshops at the various venues.
Ushers, do make sure that you know the route well, and be able to direct the guests/teachers to the correct venues using the shortest way.
Also, greet the guests and put on a sunny smileeeee! ;D
Like, you can say, "Good Afternoon, welcome to the sharing of best practices in English. Please procede to the Drama Studio for the opening ceremony." -smiles-
Heehee! Then after the opening ceremony, you can probably ask them for their next venue and direct them to the next councillor along the route.

Make sure that you remind the guests to keep their voice level down when passing by classes.
Haha! Okay, very importantly,
KNOW WHERE THE MALE TOILETS ARE.
The ONLY male toilets available to the guests on that day will be right at the end of the extention blocks, near MPR2 and Drama Studio.
As for female toilets, I'm sure you know where they are! ;D

Hi again,

Okay I've uploaded the usher routes and duty roster onto Scribd.com. The one Esther posted is for the 2.30pm - 3.30pm session (1st one). The one I'm posting are the 2nd and 3rd sessions (3.30pm - 4.30pm and 4.30pm - 5.30pm respectively). For the routes, there are some details that cannot be seen on the website so gotta download the word doc to view the full one.

Meetings!

Hey guys,

okay really sorry for the sudden cancellation of today's meeting. Anyway, we've got the dates we need to meet up decided. Do inform any one of us if you're not able to come.

Monday, 3 November: 9am-12nn (Dance Studio)
Wednesday, 5 November 9.30am - 1.15pm (Dance Studio)

This is a draft plan of what we're planning to do on these two days.
One of the groups (Hillary or Amanda's) will start filming first and the other will practise the dance. Then after a short break, we'll do it vice versa. So get the actors, props and stuff ready asap (Adeline will tell you more) :- )

Please please please practise your dance routines as many times as possible at home! Ms Rockey wants to see it on Monday.

Alright guys, don't worry, we're going to do well.

Investiture

Hello! (:
Your parents are invited to join us for investiture on 14november.

Here are some important dates to take note of:
1) 7 November, 2.30 to 5pm, at the hall
2) 13 November, 12.30 to 3.30pm, at the hall
3) 24 November, 1 to 5pm, Compulsory day camp for all councillors, bonding activities and leadership training conducted by Ms Rockey and Council Exco

7th and 13th Nov are official rehearsals for investiture.
CCA will most likely be excused for the rehearsals.
But for the camp, those who have cca will definitely be excused.

Adeline, Carolyn and I will draw up a telephone relay system asap.

Update!

Hey guys,

This is the new video that we took yesterday, and it is showing the full dance. Sorry its still not very clear but we hope this helps in your practising!

The first part is Cheryl, Yvette, Yi Yin and Rachel's dance (One step at a time) - only the first group needs to dance

Then will be the 'together' dance - both groups need to dance

Lastly there is Chyi Fang, Joanna, Kay Min's dance (Hip Hop) - only the second group needs to dance



Please practise the right dances and ask us any questions through the tagboard or you could sms us!

Our school is a centre of excellence for English, and it will be lunched on Monday 3November.
Those who have cca, Mr Wong will ask for yall to be excused.
The opening ceremony's in the drama studio, after which there are workshops in various venues around the school. Many teachers from other schools will be here.
So basically what you guys need to do is to welcome the visitors, show them to the drama studio, then after that, walk them to the respective venues.
Ms Chan Wei Meng's in charge. She'll give us a briefing sometime next week.
We'll see if she can do it on Wednesday while we'll all be in school.
I'll notify yall again once she has confirmed the date with me.
The attire will be Full School Uniform, blouse and tie.
